Toy Fair Activities On-Schedule Despite Weather Forecast

February 7, 2012 | The Toy Industry Association (TIA), owner and operator of the American International Toy Fair, assures all attendees that “the show will go on” despite unfavorable weather predictions for the New York City-area.

Although weather reports are forecasting rain or snow on both Friday, February 8 and Saturday February 9, Toy Fair and all of its associated events and activities will move ahead as planned.

The 13th annual Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards will kick off Toy Fair week on Saturday night and Toy Fair will open its doors as scheduled bright and early Sunday morning at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

“Toy Fair has opened its doors on time every year for 110 years … a little snow won’t stop us now,” said show organizers.

Toy Fair and TOTY attendees are invited to follow TIA on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter for regular updates about the show.
