TIA Goes Social

An important part of TIA’s communication strategy is engaging in the use of social media to disseminate messages and share information – both within the industry and also to the public at large.

“As more and more of our members are using social media to gather information, attract customers and network, TIA is increasing its presence to achieve many similar goals,” said Carter Keithley, TIA president.

From short “tweets” about Toy Fair, to videos from the trade show floor, to discussion boards and blogs intended for consumer audiences, TIA provides a multitude of access points for information on toy trends, safety updates, and more:

Facebook

Twitter

YouTube

ToyConnections®

TIA will also be using social media platforms to promote a new consumer-facing website that will be launched to highlight the 2010 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Award nominees during the 2009 holiday season.

A new button on the TIA homepage provides quick links to TIA’s home on various social media websites.
