Winners Selected for America Loves TOTY! Sweepstakes
Extending the excitement of the Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards to
broader audiences, this year the Toy Industry Association invited
consumers to consider the finalists and register their top picks for toy
and game finalists. Nearly 6,000 kids of all ages (5,852 unique
respondents) shared their opinions about America’s best-loved toys
of the 2009 holiday shopping season.
To generate additional interest, a sweepstakes component on the
website drew widespread attention on the social media circuit and also
from the sweepstakes communities! All those who voted had the
chance to become part of a drawing for a chance to win every finalist
product in any one of the eleven prize categories of their choosing.
Toy lovers across the nation responded by submitting a whopping 9,162
sweepstakes entries (each category required a separate entry).
Following last week’s TOTY awards, TIA held its random drawing and
