TIA Seeks Member Products, Photos and Promo Materials for
ToyInfo.org and More
July 21, 2011 | The Toy Industry Association (TIA)
is always looking for hot new products and trends, interesting industry
news and photos, and press materials and information for ToyInfo.org
videos and articles, TIA’s Facebook and Twitter pages, broadcast
segments, and more.
TIA members interested in print or video exposure on ToyInfo.org are
encouraged to refer to the production schedule and guidelines online
and contact
TIA with any product recommendations; from time to time, TIA
will issue a call for products for televised broadcast segments and
other media exposure. Companies are invited to follow TIA on Facebook and Twitter to receive a continual flow of
information regarding these opportunities.
In the day-to-day, companies can also send TIA product
photos (the quirkier the better) and company news (events, statistics,
ad campaigns) to be posted on the Association’s Facebook and
Twitter pages.
“Our Facebook updates not only post automatically to Twitter
– they also now feed directly onto the TIA homepage,” said TIA Senior Manager of
Public Relations, Adrienne Appell. “This is prime real estate for
companies looking for additional exposure.”
Preference will be given to Association members for all publicity
opportunities. Manufacturers will be asked to verify that all
recommended products comply with relevant toy safety laws and standards
and that the products selected for coverage will be available at retail
by the time the coverage is expected to air or be published.
Questions can be directed to TIA’s Adrienne
Appell or Stacy Leistner.
