launch a major media relations campaign to ensure outstanding coverage
of the show. More than 1,000 reporters, editors, photographers and
bloggers from Manhattan to Moscow are on-site to report on hot new toys
and the latest trends for kids. Thousands of articles and
broadcast segments around the globe feature content from Toy Fair!

The annual webinar Toy Fair PR Bootcamp: Tips for Developing your
TF’14 Media and Promotion Strategies will be held on
Wednesday, December 11, 2013. The one-hour session reviews for
exhibitors how to maximize exposure for their company and brands before,
after and during Toy Fair.
Online Press Room
The Toy Fair PR Team offers an Online Press Room for exhibitors.
Managed by Virtual Press Office (VPO), this service allows companies to
post electronic press kits, press releases and other news, as well as
wire distribution services via PR Newswire (additional fee
The Online Press Room is a resource for reporters before, during and
after Toy Fair 2014; it is featured prominently at the work stations in
Toy Fair’s Press Center. All items posted to the site remain for
one year. The TF ’14 Press Room will go ‘live’
in early January; take a look back at the news from the 2013 show

In the weeks leading up to the show, exhibitors will receive
information about a complimentary “virtual” news page that
will be created for each exhibitor. The free listing includes a
50-word exhibitor backgrounder; list of PR contacts with mobile numbers;
link to exhibitor homepage and logo.
Reminder: No hard-copy press materials or flyers are
distributed in the Toy Fair on-site Press Center, however, exhibitors
may distribute these materials at their booths.
Trend Database Product Submission
Toy Fair exhibitor is permitted to submit up to three (3) products for
inclusion in a “product and trend” database that is used by
the TIA PR/Trends team to inform and educate media on products and
trends at the show.

The Toy Fair PR Team hosts a press preview the day before Toy Fair
opens to familiarize team members with your products and newsworthy
information. This unique opportunity gives you a 15-minute

Toy Fair Press Center
Even though access to the Toy Fair Press Center is
reserved for the 1,000+ credentialed members of the press who cover the
show, exhibitors have several opportunities to shine a spotlight on

An electronic display of new toys and games being introduced at Toy
Fair 2014 will be constantly rotating on monitors in the Press Room
throughout the show. In order to have your product details, image
and booth number included in the video loop, you must participate in the
Pre-Show Product Preview described above.

area to conduct interviews with exhibitors or do video stand-ups against
an official Toy Fair backdrop … this is the only exception to the
“no exhibitors in the Press Center” rule.
The Toy Fair 2014 Media List is not offered until after the show
ends, however a copy of the media list from TF’13 is available to
all registered Toy Fair ‘14 exhibitors. This is a terrific tool to
