Now in our fourth year of Play Comforts partnership, TIF and BGCA give joy to children of our service men and women through toys and play.

In 2010 TIF partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs of America Military Services to establish Play Comforts, giving back to the sons and daughters of our nation’s troops. Separation from parents, worrying about their safety in combat, leaving friends behind as they move from home to home, and readjusting when parents return from overseas are all difficult and unique circumstances military youth face.

Together with BGCA, the Toy Industry Foundation provides special toy distributions to America’s bravest children. Through this Play Comforts program, Toy Bank toys are distributed to Boys & Girls Clubs located on military bases across the country, serving every branch of the U.S. military at home and abroad. Since the partnership launched in 2010, TIF’s Toy Bank has provided more than $3 million worth of toys and TIF granted over $200,000 in funds to BGCA. We have delivered play to families on more than 65 bases and counting!

Since 2010: $3,000,000 worth of toys. $200,000 in grant funding.  Our financial and toy donors make Play Comforts possible.

To donate toys to The Toy Bank specifically for military families, toy companies can complete our Product Donation Agreement and check “National Partner Boys and Girls Clubs of America” in Section 1.
