Reminder: TOTY Tribute Book Deadline – January 9

January 3, 2013 | Celebrate a year of outstanding top toys, industry icons, and philanthropy by reserving an ad in the 2013 Toy of the Year Awards (TOTY) Tribute Book, the official take-home program for guests at the Awards ceremony (Feb. 9th) and the Toy Industry Foundation’s (TIF) most critical fundraiser of the year. The deadline to reserve an ad is Wednesday, January 9th.

Proceeds from ads sold in the Tribute Book directly support the Toy Industry Foundation’s mission to bring play into the lives of children in need. TIF depends on Tribute Book ad sales to fuel all of its programs for the year, including The Toy Bank, the Play Connects community grant program, its national partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America Military Services to provide support and relief for children of military families, and its new national partnership with CASA for Children to provide toys and trained volunteer advocates for children in the foster care system.

“Thanks to the outpouring of support from the toy industry during last year’s Tribute Book ad campaign, TIF was able to bring play into the lives of more than 1.8 million children in need in 2012,” said Marisa Medina, TIF manager. “We’re depending on the same level of support this year to make our programs possible in 2013.”

Placing an ad is also a wonderful way to commemorate a TOTY Awards nomination or honor this year’s inductees into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame.

Ads may be reserved online (.pdf version / view ad specs). For more information please contact TIF manager Marisa Medina (646.454.5581).
