The Louisiana Children’s Museum
The Louisiana
Children’s Museum is New Orleans’ most playful place to
explore, experience, and learn. Plan a fun family outing. Enroll your
child in a dynamic art holiday or summer camp. Organize a field trip or
let the LCM bring the fun and learning to your classroom with unique
outreach programs that make classroom lessons come to life. Find
something new and fun to do each time you visit the Louisiana
Children’s Museum. Explore and experience 30,000 square feet of
hands-on fun, engaging exhibits and exciting programs—all designed
with curious kids (and grown-ups) in mind. Visit the Children’s Museum website for
more information.
Association of Children's Museums
The Association of Children’s Museums
(ACM) is a professional service organization representing more than 340
children’s museums around the world. ACM’s mission is to
build the capacity of children’s museums to serve as town squares
for children and families where play inspires creativity and lifelong
learning. ACM believes that no other institution in American society
champions the power of play as well or as extensively as the network of
children’s museums. Visit the ACM website for links
to children’s museums around the world and tips on making the most
of the children’s museum experience.
