TIF Holds Luau in NYC for RMHC®
On Wednesday, July 8th, 2009 the Toy Industry Foundation hosted a
luau for the children and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House
of New York City. TIF and TIA staff joined the House residents on
their sunny terrace, which was transformed into a Hawaiian
paradise. Donning leis and skirts, attendees enjoyed pineapple
topped pizza, built sand castles, blew bubbles, and decorated their own
beach toys. A hula hoop contest even capped off the event, which
was a great success!
TIF would like to give special thanks to Funrise, Inc., Spin Master,
Ltd., Just Jump It and Oriental Trading Company for donating toys and
other items for the event; Toy Industry Association volunteers; and
Ronald McDonald House Charities of NYC, Inc. staff, volunteers, and
families. (Photos by Jennifer Geller)
