TIF Sets Sail for Summer with Ronald McDonald House of New York

On Monday, June 21, 2010, the first day of summer, the Toy Industry Foundation hosted the third annual toy giveaway event for the children and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of New York City.  As families entered the House’s newly renovated outdoor terrace, each child received their very own pirate hat, setting the atmosphere for a fun, nautical event.  Bubbles filled the air as guests created their own pirate ship models and other crafts, participated in a Battleship tournament, and kept cool with water games.  Whether attendees were New York natives or traveled to stay at the House, each child left with a New York sports team plush.  The evening closed with a special dinner generously sponsored by Fairway Markets.
