Play Your Part with TIF: What We Do and How You Can Help
What does the Toy Industry Foundation do? We
bring play into the lives of kids in need by donating toys across the
country and around the world, AND by providing grant funding to worthy
children’s charities. You can help by making a donation in
support of our programs today!
Our programs and strategic partnerships include:
 The Toy Bank
Our signature program, we partner with Kids in Distressed Situations
(K.I.D.S.) to collect playthings from toy manufacturers, distributors,
and retailers, and place them with charities serving disadvantaged and
at-risk children in the U.S. and abroad.
 Boys
and Girls Club of America
Our Play Comforts partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America
Military Services impacts the lives of children in military
families. Through generous grant support and toy donations, we
comfort thousands of families stationed on U.S. military bases during
this stressful time of conflict.
 Court
Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children
Through grants of toys and funds, we help build bonds between court
appointed advocates and the foster children they care for. Toy Bank toys
serve as the tools to build hope and establish trust between children
and their guardians, and they are also used to celebrate important
milestones including birthdays and placements in loving, permanent
homes.
 Play
Connects
Granting funds to our national partners above is critical, but we
understand that local children’s charities make a big impact in
their communities. Through Play Connects, grants of $10,000 each
are provided annually to up to three locally based organizations,
helping them better serve children in need.
