Election 2012: Every Vote Counts

October 11, 2012 | Recognizing the significant impact that the 2012 election will have on the Toy Industry Association (TIA) and its members, all U.S. businesses, and the nation as a whole, TIA has provided its members and their employees with an “Election Resource Guide” containing key information about each candidate’s political platform and details on how to register to vote.

“An election is such an important event in our society and voting is a crucial part of the democratic process,” explains Andy Hackman, TIA vice president of government affairs. “We hope that TIA members and employees will take advantage of the wealth of information available to today’s voter.”

TIA’s “Election Resource Guide” draws from well-respected, non-partisan information and voter guides that span national, state and local elections. The Guide also includes important information on voting registration.
