Tickets for TOTY ’13 on Sale; Sponsorship Opportunities
Include Benefit to TIF

(TIA) and the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) invite colleagues and
friends to attend a festive affair on February 9th, 2013 at
New York City’s iconic Plaza Hotel: the 2013
Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards celebration will honor outstanding
products; salute industry icons Judy Ellis and Russ Berrie (posthumous)
who are being inducted into the Toy
Industry Hall of Fame; and support the industry’s efforts to
bring the joy of play to kids in need.
“The TOTY event is a fantastic start to a whirlwind week of toy-
and play-related activities,” said Stacy Leistner, vice president
of strategic communications at TIA. “There is no other occasion
that brings together so many friends and colleagues to pay tribute to
the people and products that comprise this great industry.”
The evening is also incredibly important to the Toy Industry
Foundation as it serves as the cornerstone for the year’s major
fundraising efforts. Ads

Tribute Book – the official commemorative take-home program
featuring award nominees and Hall of Fame inductees – directly
support the TIF and generate more than 60% of its annual cash
contributions.
Additionally, TOTY provides companies with an opportunity to
highlight their organizations or brands in front of a premiere industry
audience through various sponsorship opportunities. Information about

The $375 event reservation fee includes pre- and post-ceremony
cocktails and dinner receptions, live entertainment, the awards
presentation announcing category winners, as well as the overall
“Toy of the Year” and the “People’s
Choice” awards, and many more surprises. A special $250
“Taste of TOTY” registration fee is available exclusively to
TIA members who joined March 1, 2012 or later and
“first-time” exhibitors of the American International Toy
Fair (2013). Reservations for one to five persons can be made
online.
