In its first ever co-location with last month’s American International Toy
Fair®, the 2010
Engage! Conference and Expo (previously “Virtual World
Expo”) brought together a broad array of experts to discuss the
latest tools, technologies, products, and services being used in
building web-enabled toys, social games, virtual worlds, mobile apps and
more.
More than 100 engaging speakers across 32 sessions delivered key insights into new
monetization strategies, proven ways to strengthen customer
relationships, and essential marketing solutions to maximize reach.
Audio recordings of all sessions are now
available on the Engage! Expo 2010 website.

year’s conference program covered critical information needed by
major entertainment companies, youth brands and advertising agencies to
deeply connect with and generate revenue from youth and parents online
and on mobile devices.
“The marriage of online and offline play is creating
never-before imagined opportunities for toymakers and the developers of
other youth entertainment products,” explained Carter Keithley,
TIA president.

offline worlds, the program featured a number of toy industry

Cepia LLC, the manufacturers of Toy of the Year Award winning Zhu Zhu
Pets; Will Wright, Founder and Chief Executive, Stupid Fun Club,
Creator, Spore & The Sims; Lane Merrifield, Executive VP, Disney
