Tickets for TOTY 2012 on Sale; Sponsorship Opportunities Include

the 12th Annual Toy of the Year (TOTY)
Awards – also known as the “Oscars” of the
toy industry and the “it” gathering of the year for industry
professionals.
A Toy Industry Association-administered event in support of the Toy
Industry Foundation, TOTY 2012 will kick off Toy
Fair week on the evening of Saturday, February 11, 2012
at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
The dinner and cocktails reception (6 p.m.), awards ceremony (8 p.m.)
and dessert reception (9:30 p.m.) will allow attendees to mingle with
industry legends and rising stars while ushering in 2012 with the toy
industry’s most creative, innovative toys, games and entertainment
properties. The evening will also salute the accomplishments of Arnie
Rubin, Founder and CEO of Funrise Toys, Ltd. and Frederick
August Otto Schwarz, Founder and President of FAO Schwarz as the
latest inductees into the Toy
Industry Hall of Fame.
The 2012 awards presentation will unveil the TOTY winners in 11
categories, plus the overall “Toy of the Year” Award across
all categories, selected by consumers who voted on ToyAwards.org,
retailers, journalists and TIA members. The winners will be selected
from more than 500 products that were submitted for consideration during
the open call for nominations this past fall. [View the nominated

Sponsorship packages for the TOTY 2012 event
are also still available; each package includes two (2) to ten (10)
complimentary reservations along with a 100% tax-deductible ad in the
TOTY Tribute Book, the official take-home program for guests at the Toy
of the Year Awards and the year’s major fundraising effort of the
Toy Industry Foundation. Ads for this commemorative publication may also
be reserved separately.
